2. What data we process

Browsing data

The IT systems that run this website collect, during normal use, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP address, browser type and operating system, date and time of the request, pages visited and the server response. This data is used to keep the website working properly and securely and, only with your consent, for statistics and advertising (see section 3).

Data you provide voluntarily

When you fill in the forms on the website we collect the data you enter:

• Contact form: name, email, phone number (if provided) and the content of your message;
• “Ambassadors of the Italian Black Pig” form: first and last name, company/shop name, email, phone number, town, type of business and any message.

Please do not include in your messages any special categories of data (for example health data) that are not needed for your request.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses technical cookies and, with your consent, statistics and marketing cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy, where you can also change your preferences at any time.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Providing the data marked as mandatory in the forms is necessary to answer your request: without it we cannot follow up. Consent to statistics and marketing cookies is optional and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting your browsing.

Data sent through the forms is not used to send you newsletters or promotional messages without your further, specific consent.

4. How data is processed

Data is processed electronically by authorised and trained staff, with technical and organisational measures appropriate to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure (encrypted HTTPS connection, protected access, backups). We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.

5. How long we keep data

• Contact requests and applications: for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a business relationship begins (in which case data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the further periods required by law, for example 10 years for accounting and tax records);
• Browsing data and technical logs: for the time strictly necessary for website security;
• Cookies: for the periods stated in the Cookie Policy;
• Cookie consent: your choice is remembered for 12 months, after which the banner is shown again.

6. Who we share data with

Data is not disclosed to the public. It may be processed on our behalf, as data processors, by suppliers who help us run the website and services:

• Servereasy S.r.l. (vHosting), Italy – hosting and technical management of the website;
• Sendinblue SAS (Brevo), France – sending the emails generated by the forms;
• Google Ireland Ltd. – company email (Google Workspace), statistics (Google Analytics 4, only with consent) and embedded maps (Google Maps);
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. – advertising measurement (Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only with consent) and embedded Instagram content;
• OpenStreetMap Foundation – displaying the Ambassadors map (it receives the IP address needed to load the map images).

Applications to the Ambassadors project are received by the controller’s sales office. Data may also be disclosed to advisers (for example accountants or lawyers) and to public authorities where required by law. An up-to-date list of processors is available on request.

The website contains links to third-party websites (for example the madeobbq.com shop and our social media profiles): these websites have their own privacy policies, for which the controller is not responsible.

7. Transfers of data outside the European Union

Some suppliers (in particular Google and Meta) may also process data in the United States. In these cases the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for participating companies, and/or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission, with the further safeguards provided for by Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.

8. Your rights

At any time you can exercise the rights granted by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR against the controller:

• access your data and receive a copy;
• have it corrected or completed;
• have it erased or its processing restricted;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• receive the data in a structured format and transmit it to another controller (portability);
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. For cookies you can do this directly from the Cookie Policy.

To exercise your rights write to info@filieramadeo.it: we will reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live, or to take legal action.

9. Minors

The website and its forms are intended for adult users and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

10. Changes to this policy

The controller may update this policy, for example following changes in the law or new services on the website. The version in force is always published on this page, with the date of the last update.
